My daughter loves it as a school. Some teachers are not very enthusiastic as hoped she says.

The University of Michigan-Dearborn, anchored on the historic grounds of 4901 Evergreen Rd, is widely regarded in my local and professional networks as a formidable catalyst for regional innovation and personal growth. Based on substantive dialogues with various alumni and industry partners, a clear consensus emerges that the institution operates with a merytorical depth, effectively distilling the prestige of the Michigan brand into a focused, practice-based curriculum. My acquaintances often highlight the university's exceptional ability to cultivate professional moxie, noting that the faculty’s integration of real-world challenges directly into the classroom provides a sophisticated edge in the competitive job market. In frequent discussions about the Detroit metropolitan academic landscape, the public sentiment consistently praises the campus for its robust engineering and business programs, which many describe as a gold standard for social mobility. I am particularly struck by the university’s commitment to inclusive excellence and community partnership, a sentiment echoed by many families I know who have seen their loved ones transition seamlessly into leadership roles within

I have studied in 3 universities and this by far my favorite one! The campus , the activities they do in the campus for the students , GISO, inclusion , and how they listen and care for the students and help them !

I thought my education (CASL based) was of good quality, and most of my professors were excellent. However, 9+ years later, I find it extremely disappointing that in spite of a great C.V. and letters of recommendation from faculty, over the years UMD consistently refuses to grant me an interview for even temp/part-time adminstrative positions. Meanwhile, I have climbed the corporate ladder. I can easily find other full-time corporate work, but with starting a family, I'd prefer something closer and part-time. I wish I knew the university doesn't value its own graduates as a freshman. Maybe this will help someone undecided regarding where to apply/attend.
